Robert Joseph was born in Oakland, CA. He was raised in several locations in Northern California. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in African & African-American Studies. He first trained as an actor at the Stanford University Drama Department. He has also trained at the Screen Actors Guild Conservatory (Los Angeles), the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble (Los Angeles), and the ABFF Actors Bootcamp Workshop (Miami Beach). His theatre work includes roles in "Stanfunk" (Stanford University), "The Paper Boy" (Regional Tour), "Wade In The Water" (Odyssey Theatre Ensemble), "Girlfriends" (Hollywood Playhouse), "Panthers" (National Tour), "Five On The Black Hand Side" (Towne Street Theatre), "A Soldier's Play" (Long Beach Playhouse), and "The Odyssey" (Regional Tour). His television work includes principal roles on "The Young & The Restless" (CBS), "Sunset Beach" (NBC), and "General Hospital" (ABC), co-star roles on "Melrose Place" (FOX), "V.I.P." (FOX), "Snoops" (ABC), "Crossing Jordan" (NBC), "The X-Files" (FOX), "The District" (CBS), "The Practice" (ABC), "According To Jim" (ABC), "Numb3rs" (CBS), and "Summerland" (WB), and guest star roles on "Pacific Blue" (USA), "Nash Bridges" (CBS), "JAG" (CBS), "Navy NCIS" (CBS), "E Ring" (NBC), "Boston Legal" (ABC), and "Shark" (CBS). His film work includes supporting roles in "Luck Of The Draw" (Artisan Home Entertainment), "Showtime" (Warner Bros.), "Inhabited" (Velocity Home Entertainment), "You Did What?" (Independent film), and "In My Sleep" (Independent film). He resides in Los Angeles at the present time.
