Cherinda Kincherlow is a native of Compton, Ca. She received her BFA from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts. She has had leading roles in such plays as
A RAISIN IN THE SUN, TREAT HER LIKE A LADY, and the award winning DIARY OF A CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRL DROPOUT. Cherinda was blessed with the opportunity to work with Academy Award winner, Sean Penn, who cast and directed her in first principal role with music artist Peter Gabriel in THE BARRY WILLIAMS SHOW. In 2003 Cherinda landed a recurring role in Nickelodeon’s hit sketch comedy show ALL THAT. Since then, Cherinda has worked along side Image Award winner Mo’Nique, playing her assistant in the Oxygen channel promo MO’NIQUE’S FAT CHANCE. She has also guest starred in the popular Nickelodeon show UNFABULOUS as Nurse Betty and can be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy JELLY as the funny Mary written by Sarah Wilson.
